Job Title: OTC Marketing and Supply Operations Lead
Company Overview:
Pocket Naloxone Corp. (PNC) is a well-funded startup pharmaceutical company based in
Bethesda, MD. The company is currently developing a nasal OTC naloxone asset and has several
pipeline candidates also utilizing the same nasal delivery platform. The company is committed
to help prevent families from losing loved ones needlessly to opioid overdoses by making its
flagship naloxone product widely available at a low, affordable price point, after receiving
regulatory approval.
Position Overview:
PNC is seeking a vision-driven individual to own the development, execution, and continuous
evaluation of brand marketing and opioid overdose crisis awareness tactics and programs for
an OTC naloxone product. The position requires a highly motivated individual who can work
independently, think strategically, and collaborate cross-functionally to accomplish complex
deliverables, often within accelerated timelines. The individual will also be responsible for
supporting and managing partners, vendors and supply operations for the retail channel. This
position works closely with both the retail sales team (focused on retailers in the
food/drug/mass channels) and the B2B sales team focused on public health, healthcare
facilities, emergency responders, and other institutional segments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the branding and go-to-market planning and execution of programs and tactics
- Develop and present annual business plans and brand strategy presentations
- Manage all related workstreams such as packaging updates, website development and
PR initiatives - Develop and lead the implementation of consumer promotion and shopper marketing
programs such as sampling, couponing and in-store activations - Coordinate with all stakeholders to forecast and manage the production schedule and
product supply for all classes of trade - Analyze the performance of marketing programs and syndicated consumption data
- Act as the category expert by identifying actionable insights and using data to make fact-
based recommendations that will strengthen brand performance - Support the development of new product launches. Assist in assessing the financial and
marketplace potential - Lead market research initiatives
- Manage brand financial budgets
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure successful execution of marketing
programs - Take on other activities as appropriate

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
- 10+ years of relevant marketing and supply operations experience desired
Retail Channel
- Demonstrated experience in OTC marketing, Rx switch experience a plus
- Experience leading digital, social, and performance marketing programs focused on
cause association, brand awareness, and engagement strategies as well as tactical
execution - Strong knowledge of retail co-op and trade funding in the food/drug/mass channel
(preferably all three) and retailer-led marketing programs - Wholesale pricing expertise, MAP (minimum advertised price) experience a plus
- Ability to work through a 3rd party sales organization
- Familiarity with pharmacists as referral sources for OTC purchases
- Forecasting expertise and experience with managing supply chains and the intersection
of demand and supply with contract manufacturing facilities
Marketing excellence
- Experience leading consumer media initiatives and evaluating metrics to inform and
evolve strategic program decisions - Experience marketing products under an NDA preferred
- Experience identifying actionable customer insights, and ensuring insights are
incorporated holistically into the marketing strategy and tactics - Deep understanding of creative development, managing external agencies, and
collaborative mindset in working with medical/legal/regulatory review teams - A solid compliance mindset and demonstrated integrity on the job
- Exceptional project management skills; experience developing and managing budgets,
launch plans, and timelines - PR experience a plus
- Strong written communication skills, presentation delivery, and interpersonal skills to be
effective in a team environment

- Proven ability to develop exceptional working relationships with cross-functional
partners to obtain input and ensure strategic and tactical alignment - Flexibility to work in a fluid, fast-paced, results-oriented environment with multiple
demands – resourcefulness and independence required - Strong organizational and operational skills with attention to detail
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to assess and drive results
- An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to develop and execute creative solutions to
complex problems

Ability to travel as needed.
